Cationic Guar for Hair
Cationic guar / Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride is a conditioning polymer derived from natural guar gum, specially modified to carry a positive charge. Because hair fibers are negatively charged, cationic guar adsorbs strongly onto the hair shaft, creating a thin, uniform film. This film smooths the cuticle layer, reduces frizz, enhances combability (both wet and dry), and improves manageability. It also delivers superior deposition of conditioning agents, enhances slip, reduces flyaways, and provides a soft, smooth hand-feel without heavy build-up.
